A Chef De Partie is required to join the successful culinary brigade at Seafield Hotel & Spa Resort.
The Candidate:
- Chef qualification/2-3 years Chef De Partie experience essential
- Must have a passion for cooking and be very creative
- Ability to produce dishes to a consistently high standard
- HACCP trained and hold an up to date certificate
- Knowledge of ordering, stock control and waste management.
- Flexible to meet business needs
- Fluent English is required (Written and Oral)
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Exec Head Chef and Sous Chef with the management of the kitchen
- Ensure that all service within the kitchen is performed to the highest standard
- Ensure that all stock is kept under optimum conditions
- Help develop and introduce new menu's and recipes
- Ensure that all mis-en-place is always freshly prepared and on time
- Oversee junior chef training and provide adequate support and guidance
- Attend training and development as required
- Assist the Executive Head Chef to ensure Health & Safety is maintained on a daily basis
- Waste management
The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills.
This role will involve midweek and weekend shifts, a mix of day time and night time hours is required. Flexibility in working hours is therefore essential.
